I mostly turn to user conference papers and presentations to help solve thorny scenarios. The other primary issue I face when searching for solutions is that it's difficult to search for a a particular version. Sometimes I find an answer (found by searching the SAS documentation on their website) and then realize the solution provided only applies to a particular version and not the version of SAS I'm currently using. But it's not immediately evident how to limit searches to the version I want. If there's a way to do that, it's not obvious to me and so I haven't employed it in my searches.
