I love the templates that overleaf offers. Working LaTex is  excruciatingly  difficult  as  it is. Overleaf simplifies it a little bit. Also, most LaTex editing softwares are quite archaic looking. I don't like that it does not point to the errors in the document more prominently and simplified. I have to sift through all the red marks on the document to figure which one of it is causing the document to not compile. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

The best thing which i like about overleaf is the "effectiveness in its simplicity". Literally, on a simple white piece of paper, with only one or two font style and some bondings here and there, it will give the best alignment which you have been looking for. The systematic sections, many users working on the same Latex document from the overleaf,easy to use (like the resources are installed aldready, you just have to write the code!), there are so many benefits when it comes to overleaf. Not many dislikes, but yes, whenever i tried editing my code, well having saved my code 30 min ago, got me worried as internet breakage may cause data loss. Not the fault of the site, but surely we must maintain internet connectivity. Also, we might face complexities in writing the code at the start. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

The track changes function. It's a life-saver to now be able to edit collaborative manuscripts and have the changes tracked. Before I had to export the .tex file to word, track changes there, make changes in Word, then convert back to .tex to comntinue working in Latex. This was a very involved process and lots of things needed to be changed by hand. When Overleaf incproparted the track change feature from ShareLatex, it was a game changer and I now exclusivly work in Overleaf on Latex files, and have the paid version so I can have collaborators on the files and track their changes. Having my Overleaf files saved to Dropbox is the icing on the cake, as that way I have a backup and do not have to trust one cloud service with my important scientific manuscripts - I always have a back up without having to do anything. Can't do latexdiff between two latex files in overleaf, so I haven't been able to see how. So I still have to do that locally, but thanks to the overleaf-Dropbox integration I have the latex files locally and can hence easily run latexdiff from the terminal on files I want to compare and then copile the diff.tex file in overleaf without having to download or upload anything manually. Overleaf est utilisé pour créer des documents en utilisant LaTeX ici je peux créer sre avec tant de facilité cette plateforme fournit différents modèles et rend l'utilisation de LaTeX très facile et elle gère également l'historique de nos documents pour un accès facile à ceux-ci aussi son interface est également très conviviale car nous pouvons voir la mise en œuvre immédiatement devant nous. C'est très bien mais la recherche dans différentes sections est assez compliquée et difficile à utiliser pour accéder à tous les outils pour un débutant, il y a aussi trop de modèles, il doit avoir les mêmes options de tri. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

Overleaf rend l'édition Latex, qui est assez compliquée, facile à apprendre et à exécuter. Je devais créer un CV et une thèse en utilisant Latex et je n'avais aucune expérience en édition latex, mais je n'ai pas rencontré beaucoup de problèmes en le faisant sur Overleaf. Overleaf montre également une comparaison côte à côte entre votre code Latex et le produit final, qui dans mon cas, était un fichier pdf. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

The only thing they can consider for improvement:

J'adore absolument Overleaf. Quand j'ai découvert que quelque chose comme LaTeX existait, j'étais confus sur la façon dont je pouvais commencer à programmer et compiler mon code. Overleaf est venu à la rescousse. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

Quelque chose que je n'aime pas à propos d'Overleaf est l'absence de mode sombre dans l'éditeur. J'adorerais qu'ils aient une fonctionnalité de mode sombre pour coder afin que cela ne me fasse pas mal aux yeux lorsque je fais quelque chose la nuit dans le noir.
