Jesse is by far the most experienced technical architect at Mie Track by far. He developed our accounting add-on for Mie Track. He is a very busy man; however, I know when there is an issue with our accounting system, he is the one to call, and he ALWAYS responds, and if needed, hops on TeamViewer to fix or modify anything we need. Lorsque nous avons commencé à utiliser MIE Trak Pro il y a plus de 6 ans, le calcul des coûts des travaux n'était pas disponible. Nous devions créer des solutions de contournement pour calculer les coûts associés à chaque travail. Même si le calcul des coûts des travaux est maintenant disponible, nous n'avons pas commencé à l'utiliser. To be totally honest I don't have a ton of experience with Mie Trak software but I had maybe the best experience I've had working with an enterprise software vendor whilst doing a migration from an old Server 2008 R2 box to a shiny new Dell R540 with Server 2019 and SQL 2019 on it. Evan was not only knowledgeable and efficient (he totally migrated everything in a record-setting amount of time,) he is also just a really pleasant guy.
I own and operate a small IT contracting company so we deal with a ton of software vendors on a regular basis. Lots of these companies have really craptastic products and even worse support. Here's what I find compelling about Mie Trak from an IT contractor's viewpoint:
Easy server install
Uses SQL which is reliable and relatively smooth with very few issues (though some of MS' data import processes could be improved)
Does not require DLLs to be separately installed which means you can run this program directly from the server (no workstation install required)
Friendly and effective US-based customer support that picks up the phone when you call them
One of my bigger clients uses these guys though I don't do anything directly inside of the program and therefore am not qualified to speak about it's ease of use or inner workings. Il peut être facile de se perdre ou de se sentir frustré au début. L'apparence et la disposition pourraient être plus propres et plus agréables pour les yeux, mais le logiciel est bon et, comme je l'ai dit, ils prennent ce que vous voulez et mettent en œuvre ces idées pour vous.
