Google Cloud Shell is directly integrated into the Google Cloud Platform experience. It is super fast, and almost comparable to a native shell/command-line experience that you would find locally. The design of the product is very clean and sleek; it's easy to navigate and see what's where. There is admittedly a lot of information to keep track of; this would make it less friendly to an average end user, but speaking from the point of view as a developer, it's quite useful. The connection can be a bit slow at times; it takes up to 30 seconds occasionally for the console to load. It also initially did not support many languages, but is much improved in this aspect now. Support is usually quite quick to respond when reporting bugs with the software (even though there are many, especially in the early days).
