I was evaluating different IoT platforms and finally I have chosen Fogwing because it does not require an in-depth learning of the platform before starting to use it. They provide helpful documentation and I also have found some interesting videos on their Youtube channel, that was the only help I needed to develop my project. I have an enterprise account, so I am able to use IoT Analytics too. One of the main advantages for me is that a simulator is included in the platform, so at the beginning of the project I saw how data were stored and graphically represented and also how alerts are received depending on data values.

It would be interesting for me that the dashboards on IoT Analytics could be more customizable. Their structure is fixed, only the type of graph and the attributes can be changed, but not their size or their position.
Moreover, I think that it would be useful if more kinds of graphs were included (I know they are working on it).

Je suis nouveau dans le domaine de l'IoT et j'explore des plateformes populaires comme AWS et Azure, la plupart d'entre elles nécessitent un temps d'apprentissage important dans plusieurs services pour collecter, stocker et analyser les données. Fogwing est un outil très facile, avec une configuration simple et par défaut stocke et analyse en interne. La documentation est également très utile. Je me suis inscrit en tant qu'utilisateur communautaire, j'ai demandé l'accès aux fonctionnalités d'entreprise, ils l'ont approuvé. Même s'il existe des sites de documentation à lire et à comprendre, il est préférable qu'ils fournissent une démonstration vidéo et des exemples pour donner une meilleure idée aux nouveaux développeurs IoT.
