Dropbox was the first online document storage site I used and I expanded that to videos for my small business. I teach adults who need a central place to access documents and review videos related to the course taken. Dropbox easily shows me (1) who has opened a file and when, (2) who has access to a file or folder, and (3) a choice between VIEW or EDIT. My folders open with one click! I favor that. Dropbox makes it easy to move files from one folder to another, and uploading has always been easy and quick. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.
Currently the only negative is limits to certain customer usage, so I had to choose a second doc storage site to duplicate everything. That's not a Dropbox problem as far as I can tell. Many teachers use my service, and schools sometimes block Dropbox use with official teacher emails. Some customers mistakenly think they must download everything into their own Dropbox accounts; I assure them they can work directly from mine. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.
I've been a Mac user and a loyal Dropbox customer since its early days. Setting up and using Dropbox is effortless, and once it's running, it’s a true "set and forget" solution. Many times, Dropbox has saved me hours thanks to its version control feature, allowing me to restore previous versions of documents with ease.
I also appreciate how Dropbox helps manage hard disk space efficiently. I can keep frequently used files on my hard drive while storing important but less frequently accessed documents in the cloud—always available when needed but without taking up local storage. Special plus for recent updates such as videos, signing documents and more. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.
Years ago, I attempted to upload my iPhoto library, not realizing it contained countless layers of nested folders—each edit generating a new file or folder. Dropbox struggled to handle the complexity, and while customer service helped me through it patiently, it's not somethng I care to repeat! I assume that issue has since been resolved, but ever since, I’ve stuck to using Dropbox exclusively for documents. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

The easy integretion of web and desktop app access to files is great. I love working on a project on my laptop and then be able to switch to the desktop and then be able to access what I worked on at my job. I like it better than iCloud and sharepoint--much easier to use and access my files because you keep the product simple. Whereas Apple and Microsoft focus on other apps and products that make its usage clunky, Dropbox isn't overextending or creating problems out of what it solves and functions as. The limitations on how many devices the free version is allowed to be on. I understand it from a business side of it, but I feel like I helped gain Dropbox customers when it started out because I used it as a college writing professor to endorse its usage in the writing process. Dropbox is great because it makes storing, sharing, and organizing files super easy. Here’s why I love it:
1. Access Your Stuff Anywhere
Ican save files to Dropbox and get to them from any device—my laptop, phone, tablet, or even someone else’s computer if needed. No more scrambling to find a USB drive!
2. Sharing Is a Breeze
Need to send a big file? Just share a link—no annoying email attachments or "file too large" errors. It’s also great for teamwork since multiple people can access and edit the same files without a mess of different versions.
3. Never Lose a File Again
Dropbox automatically saves everything in the cloud, so if my laptop crashes or my phone gets lost, your files are still safe. Plus, if I accidentally delete something, you can restore older versions.
4. Keeps Things Organized
With folders, search features, and even integrations with tools like Google Docs and Microsoft Office, Dropbox helps keep everything tidy and easy to find.
5. Works Offline Too
If I know you’ll be without Wi-Fi, I can mark files for offline access and still work on them. Changes sync up once I'm back online.
6. Great for Teams
If I'm working with others, Dropbox lets me collaborate without hassle. Everyone sees updates in real time, and I can leave comments or track file changes.
Basically, it’s a simple, reliable way to keep me files safe, accessible, and easy to share. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

As a long-time cloud storage user, Dropbox has become my most trusted solution for keeping files synced across all my computers. It outperforms every other cloud service I’ve tried, with faster loading times and rock-solid reliability. I particularly value the Smart Sync feature, which helps manage my limited disk space by letting me offload files I don’t immediately need. Setting up Dropbox is remarkably simple, and it’s become such an essential part of my daily workflow that I always make it my first installation on any new machine. I use it every day without fail, and given its ease of use and dependability, I consistently recommend Dropbox to anyone looking to keep their files backed up and accessible. Honeslty, I think the only downside I can think of is that I'm dependent on it now. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

I love the fact I can share files and make them accessible via direct share links to people. I use it weekly as I run a segment on a radio network dealing with radio archival material, and it just makes things easier when I can share the folder with my producer and have them access the audio directly without having to lay them on a memory stick or equivalent and then bring that in to them. It's brilliant! Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.
There are no downsides, even the free account has a generous data allowance which is really rare these days! Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

The app for Dropbox is the most useful for me because I am always on the move and it let's me scan and upload documents from anywhere I am, plus access them too. There is no reason for me to keep multiple "cloud" services since Dropbox also automatically saves my pictures as well, and has never had any type of security issues which is most important to us all! Wonderful product! Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.
I did like the access to the "safe" that Dropbox recently discontinued, but even without that feature I will keep using this from year to year. Very dependable service and never offline or glitchy. I use it very frequently for important docs so this makes it so convenient. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.
I depend on Dropbox every day for my work as a Film and TV composer. I love that all of my files can be put in a local folder on my machine, and automagically upload to Dropbox, where my collaborators can instantly access them. Directors can easily access screeners in a secure and seemless way. The software has been easy to install and update and customer support is quick and reliable. I love how it integrates with my workflow without any extra hoops to jump through, or expiry dates. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.
The latest update was a bit time consuming to install, and I found a few files had to be synced manually, but this hasn't persisted past the first day. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

I have been a loyal user of Dropbox for over 15 years now. I was immediately impressed by it, so much so that I proceeded to recommend it to all my family and friends a few days after I started using it it's how I managed to get quite a bit of free space in those early days when dropbox ran a referral program that awarded you 500 MB of storage for every referred friend who signed up. Ever since I signed up to Dropbox, pen drives became a thing of the past pretty quickly for me and I've never looked back since then. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.
Nothing comes to mind. I quite like everything that it offers. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.
