The reporting capabilities of Densify are easily my favorite features. Single-pane-of-glass view of all of your infrastructure, on-prem and in the cloud, across multiple vCenters, and cloud accounts (or multiple clouds). The UI can be a bit sluggish sometimes. Developers are always improving performance, but we have a very large environment and it can bog down even the most robust reporting tools. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

I like the fact that Densify gathers CloudWatch metrics and then uses their engine to analyze CPU/Memory usage and ensures that we are using the appropriate instance type based on those needs. Densify has also worked with me for customization of our account to allow for some business specific needs. There are some features that would be beneficial, especially the ability to "snooze" recommendations based on a period of time. This would help our environment because we have a pretty predictable busy season and sometimes recommendations are made that would be considered invalid to us Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

The product is excellent at providing complete and detailed recommendations to rightsize various cloud instances. However, my experience with their account team has been the most beneficial as we have needed some specialized reports, and they immediately sprinted to getting them in their roadmap. The downside of Densify is the loading of their UI. It tends to be unresponsive or has a long latency. We have mainly switched our use to focus on the API and creating our UI endpoint for customers. Can breakdown utilization figures of different components of your hosts to extreme detail; analyse trends easily to optimise infrastructure and plan for future demand.

Densify uses actual historical data of workloads to establish a model for each workload and works out the optimum resources needed to run that workload. Using the Densify models, you can right-size the workloads and get more efficient placement. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

Much of the data generated is presented in the GUI and not really available outside the GUI. It is also not easy to look at views of data at specific points in time because Densify is focused on what the current position is and how that will trend in the future. La fonctionnalité la plus sous-estimée et la plus utile est les capacités de reporting. Nous n'avons trouvé aucun autre outil qui puisse nous offrir le niveau de granularité dans le reporting qui peut agréger plusieurs vCenters, plusieurs comptes AWS, plusieurs abonnements Azure, le tout en un seul endroit. De plus, la capacité de trier et de filtrer les vues en fonction de n'importe quel attribut (OS, utilisation, tags personnalisés, cluster, propriétaire, etc.) en fait une référence pour les questions concernant l'inventaire, l'utilisation ou le coût. L'interface utilisateur peut être un peu lente. Elle s'est améliorée avec le temps, mais je me retrouve encore à attendre plusieurs secondes (ou plus longtemps si c'est un rapport volumineux) pour qu'un écran apparaisse.
