I like the ease of signup and very generous free tier.
I regularly run workshops in which participants build a starter web application which allows users to upload images through the browser on mobile phones.
I like the cloudinary dashboard which immidiatelly presents a code example to integrate the upload into a node.js application.

Having to install the cloudinary node package is somewhat cumbersome and completely unnecessary. It is fairly easy to sign an url for upload to the cloudinary API directly from the browser. The trickiest bit was to find the example.
The media explorer interface is somewhat long in the tooth. Batch uploads could be smoother.

The free tier has about 5 years worth of my photos and shows no signs of reaching the cost plans. I use it so often that I actually developed an npm package that will programmatically watch my Screenshots directory, then copy the markdown-formatted image to my clipboard that I use in my static site generated personal blog. La surveillance de la consommation et de l'utilisation pourrait être améliorée. Les indicateurs sont assez médiocres. Il serait également bon de pouvoir filtrer les bots inutiles qui consomment des crédits. La mise en cache est très bonne, parfois trop bonne. Il est assez difficile de faire expirer un cache d'image. Ce que j'aime et apprécie le plus dans Cloudinary, c'est la possibilité de redimensionner les images, de travailler sur leur qualité, surtout lorsque nous traitons la demande d'images pour la promotion de produits. Je crois que le prix du plan premium est un obstacle, il nécessite un investissement, car le plan gratuit est limité. La compréhension de l'outil aussi, je crois que des documents et manuels plus clairs et interactifs aident à comprendre comment utiliser l'outil à son meilleur rendement. J'adore les transformations à la volée de Cloudinary qui peuvent être activées en écrivant seulement quelques mots sur l'URL de l'image ou de la vidéo. À mon travail, nous comptons beaucoup sur cela pour les optimisations vidéo et image. Aucun autre fournisseur ne s'en approche lorsqu'il s'agit de fournir ce service. Cela permet aux images de se charger rapidement et maintient nos scores de vitesse de site Google à de très bons niveaux. Cloudinary possède d'excellentes fonctionnalités avancées ainsi que des widgets personnalisés et des options avancées de recadrage vidéo. Le Cloudinary JS se met à jour automatiquement. Je préférerais avoir le contrôle sur le moment où il se met à jour car cela peut causer des problèmes lors de l'utilisation de leur widget. This was so easy to setup, install, and load the SDK into my software. We were able to scale our application to accept millions of user images very quickly. Integration took just a few hours and the support and documentation on their website is very easy to follow.
