Celtx is arguably the best *free* choice for screenwriting and project management. It formats scripts intuitively and allows you to use the index cards and storyboard features for free as well.
The list is too long - but basically, if you want your script held hostage, for them not to care or take the issues seriously. Use Celtx. There are glitches in the programme too that have not been ironed out - which are super annoying. Not as bad as not...
Cloud-based writing is the way to go! I love that I can access my projects to edit or share no matter what computer or platform I'm on. It's lightweight and doesn't require you to manage the limited keys/installs you have from other screenwriting programs....
