The power of Snagit lies in both its screen capturing functionality and its image editing tools. When taking a screenshot, the crosshairs and magnifier make it easy to precisely select the area you want to capture. Several capture types are available including custom region, window, fullscreen, video, and scrolling/panorama. The editor also goes above and beyond the OS's built-in screenshot editor. Among other features, you can move, delete, blur, sharpen, and redact elements of the image. You can also add text, callouts, arrows, shapes, and stickers. With its large feature set, Snagit is my go-to screen capture tool. I use it daily for taking UI screenshots.
