We don't use commerce cloud, however, I have had exposure to a demo store and have been able to play around in it; and I have also looked at the documentation available online. From what I have seen and used, I would say that the commerce cloud offering is ok; I wouldn't say there is anything overly special about the platform when you compare it to the plethora of other eccomerce platforms available. Commerce cloud is a big improvement to the previous Sana offering (which our company is currently using) though; as SCC is much more flexible when it comes to designing product pages how you would like. Commerce cloud also has much more in terms of additional content that you can add on for free, content elements and widgets for example. Our current version of Sana is very very rigid and does not leave much room for customization without having to request custom work which costs further money. So commerce cloud is definitely better in this regard. In addition, this is more of a wider Sana advantage in general, but the integration with the ERP (from what I have seen) is pretty smooth - and doesn't require much intervention, products and information are synced and are ready to use in our online store without issue 99% of the time.

The new CMS is definitely a massive upgrade from the current system. being able to pick and choose content makes it like a wordpress of shopify site from a content point of view.
