Brainscape was such a massive timesaver. It saved me having to create thousands of flash cards which are invaluable for learning the huge amounts of wine knowledge required for WSET 2 and WSET 3 certifications. It has a great interface that I used both on desktop and mobile and a good algorithm for when to resurface flash cards to me that I wasn't sure about. It certainly helped me get a pass with distinction for both of these courses.

I've personally used Brainscape to practice both Spanish and Chinese (as well as some more random decks for specific course material). It's great! The way the courses are structured help you learn there language much faster than simply drilling sole vocubalury. They emphasise practical usage a lot more. The SRS works much like other apps, but the top quality is the deck-collections they provide.
