This upgrade was much needed for our growing companies. The document imaging has been by far the best feature and has improved our efficiency. No more running around searching for paper documents. We bought this software to be able to integrate easier with project management, the shop and field personnel, instead of merely using a software for accounting purposes. We are still struggling with implementing this to those outside accounting. Undoubtedly, this is not solely the software's issue. The dislike stems from how cumbersome it is to setup any module and those outside of accounting don't see the value is spending that much time to get it setup right from the start. Software is very flexible and allowed us to customize it to fit our company. T&M billing is very powerful and the software when originally built was very solid and stable overall. The company has changed dramatically since the buyout. Most people that truly cared and "owned" the software are gone. Software support has deteriorated tremendously to the point where we do not even try to call most times anymore. Software assurance fees started going up 5% every year and now have gone to 7% increase every year. Those that truly care have left or are leaving the company. It is a pure money-making machine at this point. They are buying up their competitors and jacking up the prices as they know they have people trapped. The ability to export information so that it can be tailored for various users. The ability to do queries is very helpful when analyzing information.
