I actually found this software because I had so much audio to transcribe and after sitting and attempting to transcribe by rewinding and listening to my audio - I was considering finding an affordable transcriptionist.

I found Sonix.ai and I literally had hours of audio transcribed in MINUTES about FIVE!!!!! MINUTES for HOURSSSS

So yea, very excited about that.

Also love that the transcription comes with audio markers - so if there’s a part that isnt clear, you can just click on the audio and you listen to that specific section instead of having to scroll through the main file searching...

ALSO, you can download the transcription as a WORD document!!!!

What’s not so great is that the transcription isnt perfect, but honestly it’s good enough. And I can easily just read it, identify where it seems off and then listen and correct.

I can edit audio but just crossing out words mid-sentence, right from my finished transcription. Super helpful for when I convert audio from podcast into scripted snippets for social media. I can just drag the srt file directly into Premiere Pro!
