I donated to a food bank and earmarked my donation directly to the food bank. The food bank is connected to a larger organization, which is what the nonprofit registration is under. On the Selflessly website, it shows that I made a donation to the larger organization, which isn't necessarily untrue, it doesn't tell the full story. Our organization has Selflessly integrated with its 'matching' program. This portal helps folks like us to (a) identify approved charity organizations without much back and forth; (b) have the whole donation match happen in the background seamlessly
The interface is simple yet effective. It gives a great snapshot of things I'd wanna know (my contributions for the year, favorite or preferred organizations etc).

The biggest downside for me is having to upload a receipt each time I enter a donation. I have to go into my credit card account, take a picture of the charge, send that to my work email, and upload from there.
