I used PDF-XChange Editor for collaborating and creating annotations on drawings, and it was the best in the market. The main reason I used it was because of the smoothness and lightweight nature coupled with a powerful annotation bundle. I appreciate its ability to work well on budget computers. I also like the annotation bundle and the ability to add JavaScript tools. It was perfect for editing PDF files, allowing for perfect content editing without needing to use Doc or xlsx files. I think the UI could be improved. It's somehow old-fashioned. I think a modern design would be better. If there was a feature to add pattern fill to objects, it would be very useful. For example, a diagonal hatch for a rectangle instead of a solid fill. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My experience with PDF-XChange Editor has been nothing less than satisfactory. It integrates directly with Outlook to send and manage documents without switching applications. Its toolset is powerful and versatile; in my day to day life, I need to review, edit and manage a wide variety of PDF documents and PDF-XChange delivers every time. I like its speed and ease of use; I can annotate documents, make quick edits and move between tools, as well as convert formats and even scan documents directly from the editor. Very easy to use, amazing features such as mark ups, book marks, advance search options, thumbnails, manipulating page order and orientation etc. good speed and love the OCR Conversion as well as exporting to images, exporting to excel and word and multiple editing options on ones figertips. I am trying to use Java Console and compared to Adobe PDF, it is not that friendly. In search if there could be an option to highlight different search wildcards with different colors, it would be very helpful for complex documentation checking. Comments resolution can be another feature like MS Word like if someone comments on the document, the next user can review and comment on it further with a chain traceability in same comment can can resolve or reject etc. the comment as well.
