Pros y Contras de OpticsPro

La reducción de ruido es increíble. Ocasionalmente tomo fotografías de agilidad canina. La velocidad de los perros exige una velocidad de obturación rápida, pero como estoy tomando fotos dentro de un edificio, la luz no es buena. No se puede usar el flash porque distraería a los perros y a los manejadores. Esto significa que necesito usar un ISO alto. No hace algunas cosas que Adobe Lightroom hace que son realmente convenientes. Easy to apply settings across multiple photos from a shoot. The workflow is very streamlined with this one. There are only a couple tabs to toggle between modes. I like this much better than Lightroom's workflow. The ability to preview presets for images is fast and accurate. I love how easy it is to make changes to the level of detail, noise reduction, color corrections and nearly every possible adjustment. Optics Pro the clear winner when it comes to meeting my editing needs.

One of my favorite features is the software's ability to identify and download camera and lens profiles while automatically applying the corrections to the images.

Another feature that I really like is the DxO ClearView option. ClearView can bring out details that you don't even know are in the image. This can be a subtle effect or an over-the-top thing - just like HDR can be under or over-used. In the right hands and with the right settings, ClearView can really make your photos stand out. I have not yet found anything that I don't like about the software. It is somewhat pared-down from software such as Lightroom, but then, I don't need to edit photos AND order prints from the same software. That's about the only thing that I find lacking in Optics Pro and I don't mind at all. If you prefer to edit and order prints from the same application, then this may cause you some frustration. The automatic features are really amazing and give the picture a really good enhancing. You can notice the difference before and after and the results are amazing, the software knows what are the camera and lense flaws and compensates well for them. Reseña recopilada por y alojada en G2.com.

I look at DxO as a non-destructive raw converter with some unique features that can make the difference between a great image and one that either ends up in the trash. To be honest, if I can accomplish my editing needs without leaving Lightroom, that’s my first choice. However, DxO has made it as seamless as possible to work with Lightroom - direct import and export to Lightroom are supported, so there are no additional steps required other than choosing Edit in DxO and then returning those adjusted files back to your Lightroom catalog. Es muy difícil trabajar con proyectos más largos. No ayuda a mi flujo de trabajo como fotógrafo de bodas. Tengo que editar 800-1000 fotos por día. La reducción de ruido tarda una eternidad en eliminar el ruido y no hay opciones de ajuste local con pincel. Tengo que comprar el software más caro ELITE para que mi cámara sea compatible.
