- Tableau for campaign-level monitoring and access to internal attribution

- Smartly for more operational reporting and creative optimization insights

- Spreadsheets for pacing, weekly business reviews and contribution margin calculations

- Confluence for collaboration with local markets

My paid social team was spending significant time on manual reporting and pulling together numbers from multiple sources. Testing new hypotheses was very time consuming and hard.

It’s my 2nd time bringing Clarisights into my marketing org.

I’ve seen first-hand how Clarisights changed how we used to steer marketing at my previous company.

When I joined my current company, I saw the same challenges we had before starting to use Clarisights:

- Data and metrics spread across Tableau/Looker, Data Studio, ad platforms, spreadsheets, etc

- Running new tests and exploring new hypotheses requires manual data preparation

- Limited flexibility to explore data on Tableau/Looker

Ultimately, Clarisights enables marketers to test a lot and iterate very fast.

Before Clarisights, we were using Tableau for monitoring and we had built spreadsheets and scripts for deep dives like keyword analysis or pacing. We also had some Data Studio dashboards.

We were quite limited on some sophisticated analysis and all this manual reporting was taking time away from testing and campaign optimization work.

With Clarisights, we can easily explore data, accelerating time to insight.

It has become our single source of truth, replacing Tableau, spreadsheets, and Looker Studio dashboards.

Testing has become really fast and easy - thus we can test more and iterate faster.

I lead all our global performance marketing efforts.

Within my performance marketing team, I want to ensure 1) decision quality and 2) testing culture.

Marketers should be testing a lot, iterating fast, based on the right metrics.

Clarisights enables this perfectly.

Before Clarisights, we struggled with various setups - Thoughtspot, Tableau, Looker + Fivetran and Funnel. Was not really enough, with marketers downloading data into spreadsheets, building ad-hoc data studio reports, etc - affecting both decision quality and testing culture.

Clarisights is the future self-service BI for marketing data. not only from the marketing side of the coin but also from the data engineer one.

I've been using Clarisigths since several years already and I truly believe that is a game changer in the industry. When it comes to marketing data, it gets a bit complex because of the variety of data that you need to build pipelines for and harmonize. You are dependent on external apis and changes, such that it can be overwhleming for internal data engineers to manage them and keep the pace.

Clarisights takes this pain away and due to their focus on performance marketing they do a great job, instead of trying to solve problems for many industries at once. Due to the nature of marketing data in the majority of times, the IT teams struggle to understand the nuances and struggle to deliver agile and flexible systems for the marketing teams. IT teams sometimes understimate the real effort and ressources to bulid this solutions inhouse and with Clarisights lots of data engineer dollars are saved.

From the marketing perspecive, it gives the team a real sense of self-service and independence that is hard to match by other tools like Tableau or Looker. Here is where clarisights truly delivers. Due to their focus on this area, their expertise is high-valuable. It's easy use gives marketers the flexibility and agilty they need to manage and optimize their ccampaigns. In the ad world, you just need to react fast and for this you need to be able to analyse quick and, for example, quickly change your ouwn custom dimensions or metrics or add new sources from a google sheet. Here Clarisights shines.

In concluison given the fact that Clarisights is a reporting tool with a strong focus on marketing perfrmance, they shine in both the data engineering needs of the marketing teams as well as their agile needs to react fast to the markets and increase ROAS/ROI. It allows me to build my own ad-hoc analyses, without having to ask the data team for support. You don't need to know how to code, as everything is accessible in a easy to use interface.

It's also very powerful - while our Tableau dashboards were often slow, Clarisights loads all reports in a matter of seconds. This makes is easy to compile weekly reviews and reports for management.

So far the best marketing analytics platform I've seen.

Our dashboards and reports were not enough for our performance marketing team. They constantly asked for more dashboards and new ways to look at data, channels, metrics, etc.

Marketers were building their spreadsheets for some analyses.

My marketing analytics team was drowning in requests and could not focus on big priorities - Attribution, MMM, and Incrementality.

The situation has completely changed with Clarisights.

Marketers are much happier with Clarisights.

And my team has more time for our big projects.

Transitioning from our previous setup (Funnel + Tableau) was very smooth.

Clarisights connects directly to the ad channels. Blending and joining channels, GA, Internal attribution, and internal data (COGS, budgets, and targets) is automatic and out of the box.

We shared our main reports and dashboards upfront, and the Clarisights team replicated them within one week. We like that we can own the marketing analytics part. We can edit our own metrics and build dashboards, which increases our curiosity and allows us to explore more data and achieve our goals. In addition, the data is updated daily, so there is no need for manual work or the help of BI teams.
