Microsoft Authenticator is a simple straightforward tool, that allows multi-factor authentication without headache. My company has used it for a couple years now, and it's worked mostly seamlessly while increasing our security greatly. Whenever we need to connect to our VPN or use a system with this simple sign-on, we immediately get an alert on our phone, which we need to touch approve, and enter a PIN. Microsoft Entra is absolutely helpful for organizations using Azure, Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams and other Microsoft applications and tools. Entra has all the Identity and Access management related settings, configurations, tools, features in one portal, this gives comprehensive visibility into an organization's IAM and security all in one place. It also has Identity governance, conditional access and other features.

If you're using a third-party SIEM solution (not Microsoft Sentinel), you might encounter challenges in forwarding User Risk detection logs to external SIEM solutions. The Entra ID user interface is smooth and user-friendly, but configuring certain features can be intricate, as with any other complex tool. I wouldn't necessarily view this as a negative.
