The lineage tool is also very powerful, and can assist in a multitude of different areas from understanding dependencies, making informed decisions on developments, and checking overall use of an asset. It would be great to have more capabilities involved with the lineage views. We have wanted to be able to filter based on the asset source (only lineage for the dbt assets, or Snowflake and Sigma etc.), so that is a downfall of this feature. the search function - where it is placed and how relevant the search results are have helped me onboard to my new (data) organization faster than had I not had access to such a helpful catalogue.

Lineage diagrams clearly mark where data is coming from.

I frequently flip back and forth between (1) atlan, and (2) the github repository containing our dbt models. I know that atlan is integrated so it's possible to see within the app how exactly (raw SQL) a model is built but I feel like this feature could be fleshed out more so that I'm not tempted to flip back and forth.
