Adoption of AI - Partner Vs. Competitor

Do you think the adoption of AI would quicken if AI was seen as a partner/teammate and not a competitor?

AI could learn and collaborate with humans on complex issues to achieve shared goals e.g. in Marketing, AI could suggest campaign ideas while the Marketing Team could create bespoke and imaginative ideas and the final finishing touches.

Another example is that repetitive and tedious tasks could be completed by AI, while Humans can concentrate on deeper, more purposeful engagement centered around development, self-improvement, creativity etc. Individuals would have more time to focus on themselves, and by doing so would develop skills and maximise their potential for the benefit of themselves and others around them.
