# Why IBP don&#39;t have a stock replenishment tool, which creates POs automatically, based on demand forecast, current stock level and Open POs?

I guess F&amp;R for Retail does that, and also APO. But since IBP is coming to substitute APO...

SAP Integrated Business Planning can calculate the stock replenishment needs and recommend purchases to cover the stock needs.  These typically are in the form of Purchase Requisitions, that are then converted to Purchase orders in the transactional purchasing system.  Stock, safety stock and open POs are all accounted for.
