# Which MDR solutions are best for startups?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Hello all G2 users! I work at a startup where we’re trying to build a stronger cybersecurity posture without hiring a full internal security team. Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solutions seem like a good way to monitor threats and respond quickly without the overhead. I’ve been looking into a few options that are designed to be accessible for smaller companies and startups.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Here are a few <strong>MDR solutions for startups</strong> that I came across:</p><ul>

<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/threatdown/reviews"><strong>ThreatDown</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Formerly part of Malwarebytes, ThreatDown combines endpoint protection with MDR services. It’s especially appealing to startups due to its intuitive dashboard and low system impact.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/arctic-wolf/reviews"><strong>Arctic Wolf</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Arctic Wolf offers a broad security operations-as-a-service platform with MDR, vulnerability management, and SIEM. Their concierge security team helps guide strategy, which is a plus for resource-constrained teams.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/threatlocker-inc-threatlocker/reviews"><strong>ThreatLocker</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Known for its zero-trust approach, ThreatLocker combines application control with MDR capabilities. It’s ideal for startups wanting more control over what runs in their environment.</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">I found these tools while browsing the <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/managed-detection-and-response-mdr/small-business">MDR software for small business</a> category on G2. If anyone here has experience with any of these platforms, I’d really appreciate your insights. </p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Thanks in advance!</p>
