# What is the report type that will give us a faster turnaround time to complete?

We do high volume hiring for warehouse associates and delivery drivers. One of our process bottlenecks is the time it takes to receive a completed background check report. We ideally would like to see that report even before we extend the job offer to avoid any complications down the road. We onboard new hires on a weekly basis and that gives us only a week to process applications as well, including the background check.

Background checks are normally done after an offer is extended, you may be okay to complete pre-offer in most states but some states do not allow that so check your local regulations first.

We use the standard report or the driver standard and some are back within a day and some within a couple.  I've found the standard reports through Checkr to be very fast compared to other services we've used.
