The ease of which it takes to create a diagram, and the ability to easily make changes.

For me, it&#39;s designing network diagrams with the built-in objects for various networking equipment.  Definitely simplifies documentation for us.

That depends what are you trying to do. In my opinion. the ability to draw different types of diagrams using forms libraries, either built-in or that you can créate by yourself.
Being a MS Office software, integration with Word and Excel, or, even PowerPoint, is easy and useful.
Besides of this, is the flexibility the feature most interesting for me.
