What are your hardware recommendations when setting up a new Zoom Room

We are building out a new space and have the opportunity to start from scratch instead of piecing existing equipment together to make the room(s) work. Also do you highly recommend having the ability to schedule eetings/reserve rooms directly in front of the room using an iPad? Currently all of our scheduling is done on Outlook.

Hi Karen When kitting out a Zoom Room there are SO many different things to think about. Lighting, echo, where the participants are sitting..and many more things as well. That's why it is best to get a specialist in to have a look at the space you are wanting to convert to a Zoom Room and ensure you get the best suited hardware. Sometimes you can utilize existing hardware, just depends on specs, somethig the specialist can help you with also. As for the scheduling, it depends on the intended utilization of the space - Is it a boardroom which should only be used by a certain few or is it a common space room that can be booked by all. My cusatomers really enjoy the ease of use of booking outside the room (as well as utilizing the Outlook plugin for 'from your desk' booking. Happy to jump on a call with you and go over any of these answers, I work as a CSM for Connect NZ, one of the NZ partners for Zoom. Happy to chat :)
