What are the features of Procreate?

With procreate you can create almost any kind of artwork from paintings to animations. Individual projects can be organized into stacked groups. Within a project you can set the size, background color, and set a reference image over your canvas. The brush tool provides nearly a vast array of options organized by tool and media type. Paint brushes, effect brushes, charcoal, pencil, textures, patterns, all can be found in brushes and you can create custom brushes or download brushes to the app. You can toggle the size and opacity of your brush too. The smudge tool allows you to choose any brush to apply effects over your painting or drawing. The eraser also allows you to choose any brush to apply over your work. In the color panel you can choose the view you prefer and set custom palettes. The layer tab lets you organize layers and apply blend modes, opacity, etc. The selection tool allows you to select a layer or a section of a layer and manipulate it. The magic wand tool has even more effects that you can apply to your layers globally or by applying with a brush. You can export your work in different formats depending on how you want to publish your work. The app also allows you to export a time-lapse of your piece so you can see how it develops over time.
