# What are the best AI tools for multilingual meeting transcription?

With more teams working across borders, multilingual transcription is becoming a must-have. I’ve noticed that some AI meeting assistant software already supports multiple languages, but I’m curious about how well they actually work in real-world scenarios. From what I’ve seen on G2, a few of the popular tools like Zoom Workplace, Fireflies.ai, and Fathom are often mentioned for their transcription quality — but how do they handle multiple languages?

Zoom Workplace - Zoom’s AI Companion has been rolling out multilingual support. For those using it, do you find the summaries and transcripts accurate across different languages?

Fireflies.ai - G2 reviews suggest it supports more than a dozen languages. Has anyone here tested it for multilingual meetings, especially when switching between languages mid-call?

Fathom - is known for clear summaries in English, but I haven’t seen as much feedback on non-English transcription. Has anyone tried it in other languages?

Apollo.io - since it’s sales-focused, I wonder how well it performs for global teams. Does it work reliably outside of English calls?

ClickUp - can summarize and create tasks from meeting notes, but is it strong enough for multilingual contexts?

Have Zoom Workplace, Fireflies.ai, or Fathom been accurate enough, or have you turned to a different solution? Thanks.

Fathom has been solid for English, but in multilingual settings we’ve found it less reliable. It’s fine for high-level summaries, but not something we’d trust for detailed notes in another language.

Zoom, fireflies, Fathom all work reliably for multilingual content..have tested all three. Not sure about the other two

In our experience, most tools are “good enough” for summaries, but not perfect for detailed multilingual transcripts. Expect some level of manual review.

For global teams, I usually find a mix of tools works better than trying to force one platform to do everything. We ended up using one tool for transcription, like Fireflies or Zoom, and another for translation or cleanup. No single tool really handled every part well, so the better setup was usually combining a couple of tools that each did their part reliably.
