# The slide bars of every file don't have the automatic snap option like Premiere Pro.

It is tough for me to align the file bars of every video layer in a sequence properly, like Premiere Pro. I need to stretch every slide to align them properly to avoid any gap in between files. It would be easier to snap the front edge of the following file to align with the ending edge of the previous file.

I wish After Effects had smoother automatic snapping like Premiere Pro. Lining things up on the timeline often takes more effort than it feels like it should.

Click snapping on your top tool bar, you can also hold the shift key while dragging to allow the clip to snap.
