Support for central event log server and linux?

A central logging server for large companies and to comply with regulatory agencies and standards is a requirement. And from a practical perspective it is so difficult to perform a security forensic analysis without support for a central logging server. Linux support would obviate the need to have another malware/security competitor to Webroot in-house. Instant competition!!!!!
