# Sneaky auto-renewal clause in ZoomInfo contract

Apparently ZoomInfo includes a sneaky auto renewal clause in their contract that was never mentioned in sales conversations and they seem to be railroading us into renewing another year against our will.

I'm really surprised by this business practice. The've been a useful platform for us, but the price tag is beyond what makes sense for a company our size. I would hope they have enough confidence in their value that they wouldn't have to engage in strong-arming their customers to renew.

Anyone else have an issue with this? Suggestions for a solution?

I am having the same issues with them. However, they are in violation of the auto renewal act in my state. The contract is void and unenforceable. You should check this in your state.

Were you able to find success getting your state's laws to apply? Part of the scheme is that the contract is under Washington state law.
