"FileMaker Licensing For Teams", or "FLT", was a licensing option FileMaker (now Claris) offered in 2016 that attempted to make it easier for teams of five or more to share a custom solution. It was user-based, not device-based. So one user accessing a solution from a laptop or desktop (FileMaker Pro), iPhone or iPad (FileMaker Go), and web browser (WebDirect) could access their solution without requiring three licenses. Users had to connect to their specific FileMaker Server. This user-based licensing approach simplified license purchases but restricted users to using solutions hosted on their server. FileMaker discontinued "FLT" but adopted a user-based approach in their current licensing model. You can learn more about the FileMaker Platform and licensing options at their website: www.filemaker.com/platform/ You are also welcome to contact us at our site: www.softwarethatfits.com.
