# Is there a way to Unzip the ZIP Files in Google Drive ?

There are a lot of instances where at our organization we need to upload and view the Zip Files. If there is a way of how we can achieve this, please let me know. It'll be really appreciated from our end.
Also, if this is not possible or not somewhere near in your pipeline, can you at least implement the names/previews or the zip files? 
Any of the above two options can be helpful to us.

If you click on a zip file (not double click) and select the three vertical dots in the top right of the page you can choose to "Open With" and then choose "ZIP Extractor". If it doesnt show up under suggested apps you will need to choose "Connect More Apps" and search for it.

The best way is to manage your Drive files locally by installing and configuring Backup and Sync from Google, then sync your files. So any zipped and unzipped files locally, will appear the same on Drive.

You can't unzip them in Drive..to unzip you have to download the file and unzip.
when zip file is in drive you can just view all documents in and download them. but you can't unzip in drive.

Yes Zip extractor will do it is you click on a zip file in you dirve
