Is there a way to maintain the history on conversations?

The one thing I can not understand about skype is, you have all the alternatives giving by default this behavior,and skype is the completely opposite.

My Skype keeps a copy of all my IM conversations and Meeting schedules in my Outlook account. I can then delete, move, view or keep them as is. The only thing it does not do unless you record it, is keep a copy of the voice transmission during a meeting but it will keep a record if anyone used he chat box during the meeting. Hope this information helps.

Yes you can have a setup in a way that you can have the entire communication emailed to you.
