Yes, for the base POS (Point-Of-Sale) system, you will still be subject to the percentage on every card transaction you may. There are additional systems by Square that have monthly fees as well (ex: Square for Retail, Square Appointments, Square for Restaurants).

Square is free but you do pay a percentage on every credit card transaction you make.
