None of the other versions support a business with reporting, invoicing, and other features useful for small businesses. At this price point, Quicken has very few - if any - competitors. The annual subscription also pays for the ability to sync transactions with financial institutions. Is it "worth it"? For me, operating a small S-corporation whose needs don't merit the licensing of QuickBooks, I feel the subscription is worth it. That said, where possible, I reduce my annual subscription cost by finding a new license from a third party, instead of simply renewing through Quicken. Using that strategy I can usually reduce my annual subscription by more than Quicken offers me, as a renewing customer. It's a shame that Quicken, like many companies, sometimes offer a better deal to new customers rather than their renewing customers.
