well yes it is free with basic features. like you can create multiple workplaces but while using free version you can create maximum 5 space per workplace

ClickUp provides many features for free. However, some features have a recall limit and these features are essential for serious use. If you are considering Click-Up, I recommend trying out the free Click-Up plan and making your decision. The productivity of ClickUp is very reasonable compared to the subscription cost.

Yes, most of the functionality does not require a paid upgrade. It is only when it comes to custom fields and number of reports that you start feeling the limitations
