Obviously, if you have any video editing experience (DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or other products), you will be able to navigate the program quite easily. But even if you have NO video editing experience, Camtasia offers so much free training with their software that you can be a seasoned pro in now time. I use Camtasia in addition to Premiere Pro when I make videos for my YouTube channel. I could not do what I need to do without Camtasia! Plus the more you use it the easier it becomes. Furthermore, Techsmith has some of the best customer service group just in case you do get stuck and either the free training or the online FAQs can't get you the answer you need.

If you are new to video editing then you should spend a few hours going through the training videos. One part is learning how to use different software features. Another part is learning how to organize your project. The videos cover both. Once done, Camtasia is easy to use.

Very. It is intuitive and we'll thought out. You can work on it as a complete beginner and even if you are a seasoned editor, you will find the ease of doing things pleasant.

Yes, it's easy to use. I learned it myself without any training and without needing to consult the documentation much. However, it's quite feature rich and I'm still learning new things about it every so often. I think a deep dive training course might be helpful if one were available--at least for folks who want to get the most out of it. But even without training, I think most folks will pick up its basic features and functions pretty quickly.

Generally, yes. You don't have to be a "whiz at computers" to figure it out but someone who is "computer illiterate" will likely struggle.
