will basecamp implement new features, more reactions a way to rate work etc

Yes, they work in 6 week cycles so every 6 weeks there are new developments. Sometimes they are just bug fixes and minor things, but often they include bigger improvements.

They have continually added new features over the years. You might want to look at their blog page https://m.signalvnoise.com/ which also has an option to sign up for the mailing list, allowing you to be notified when new improvements are added.

They are definitely making improvements and new releases.  They are very methodical in this process and make excellent release improvements to their platform.

Well if the past  is any indication, I would say yes they are going to keep adding features at some point. They are on basecamp 3, which is a vast improvement to 1
