# I purchased a LIFE-TIME DEAL version, is it really a life-time?

I'm not an expert on lifetime deals, but generally, once you purchase a lifetime deal on a platform, you have access to the tool for life as long as the tool is still available.
The downside is that platforms cannot be held responsible after the trial period, so I advise you to test and use the product as much as possible to benefit from the refund policy if you're unsatisfied or the product is no longer available.
In addition, you have to trust the platform proposing the deal. For example, I trust Appsumo (I'm not an affiliate). There are many other trusted platforms out there.
You have to understand that platforms are just third-party resellers that can control their marketplace, not what's happening on the partners' side. If the partner company folds up after the trial period, you might no longer have any claims on the platform.
I'll also advise reading the lifetime deal and refund policy before purchasing.
