Select the slide where you want to place the video. Use the toolbar to insert media, then choose video from your PC. This opens the file browser to locate and select your video. After inserting, playback options appear in the toolbar. Decide if the video starts automatically or on click, and if it plays across multiple slides or just one. Remember to save the video with your presentation if transferring to another computer.

Save the video to your desktop. Open up your PowerPoint presentation. Right click copy on your video (now on your desktop) and back within your presentation right click and select paste.
