WordPress is a valuable tool in the open source scenario, the eco system is massive, in my opinion the only drawback lately is caused by the choice to prioritize Gutenberg development and integration above anything else. As a tool I can only see Gutenberg viable substitution for the old classic editor, not usable in other scenario and far inferior to other plugins and components

The latest updates that brought us the Gutenberg block editor have greatly facilitated this task.
