How does LiveChat work when no one is available?

Am I able to turn the chat off completely after work hours?

A small box will still be visible on your website, and (depending on your settings) it can say "Sorry you missed us, leave us a message" or "no agent are online right now" and the site visitor can fill out their contact information, which will create a ticket and send you an email notification. You would also need to have "ticket forms" enabled, so it's your choice if you want anything available at all.

When you are offline the chat window changes into the ticket form. It means that your visitors can leave messages as tickets and contact you even after your office hours. You can eliminate that process entirely by disabling the ticket form.
