How do you import your wallet to a new expense report without having to remove receipts?

I end up spending more time creating my expense report than looking through it. What I mean is that when I try to upload all of my wallet to a new expense report, I end up having to send back entries that were just receipts to my wallet. Otherwise, I get duplicate entries, I am unable to merge items, and the receipts become their own entries (I am unable to use the "clean up wizard"). There is also the issue of the dollar amount being wrong on some of my entries. This happens if I allow the app to automatically place in my dollar amount based on my photo of the receipt. I then have to have my admin go into the system and change it. It's a huge headache.

My best practice is to scan all of my receipts using my phone and the Certify App and then log into the Certify site and select the option "start with a blank expense report" then you can add receipts from the receipts bank on the right hand side of the site which allows you to keep all of your existing receipts AND fully customize every expense.

Our system uses receipt parse which will scan the receipt to the best of its ability and populate the information based on what has been entered for that receipts information prior in our system and from the amount presented on the receipt. Sometimes this process will import incorrect data which is why we always recommend checking the receipt and its information to confirm it has transferred over properly. In regards to the merging items in a report the items will automatically merge if both the merge items is active on the users wallet as well as if the credit card expenses and the receipt image reflect the same date and amount. A user can also merge items by adding just the credit card or expense portion into a report and then use the link receipts wizard to then merge it with the correlating receipt that was left in the wallet. Below are help center article that go over these steps in detail. If further assistance is needed please contact us at Certify Support where we may further assist you with any other needs or questions. 888-925-0510 Option 2 Merge items in wallet - https://help.certify.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000435773-Using-Merge-Items-in-the-Certify-Wallet Link Receipts Wizard - https://help.certify.com/hc/en-us/articles/202852150-Attaching-Receipts-Using-the-Link-Receipts-Wizard
