The outbound message in MobileConnect is created. An automation in Automation Studio is created. The activity is added to the automation. When configuring the activity, the outbound message created in MobileConnect is selected. The automation is scheduled and activated.

Create the outbound message in MobileConnect. Create an automation in Automation Studio. Add the activity to the automation. Select the outbound message you created in MobileConnect when configuring the activity. Schedule and activate the automation.
