How can you add a field

In the author we need to select add filed public or Private field

Open author, go on to the group where you eish to add a field then simply click ctrl+A, a popup wpuld appear where you could add your field. If you want this field to be visible to user then you can select public field, else if you wish it to be manuscript logic then keep it private.
