How can I open the esper menu from a device in kiosk mode?

We faced a big issue once we sent a device to a patient and it was not possible to access the esper menu to connect the device to the patient's wifi.

From Android 10 and above, Android has deprecated the display over apps permission for Go devices; provisioning couldn’t proceed due to these permissions. As a result, the user couldn’t access the dock. Now, after provisioning, in kiosk mode, while trying to access the hidden dock (3-4 taps of the power button), Esper Settings will open directly.

That must have been really frustrating for you and your patient. We work with several healthcare organizations, so we understand how important it is for devices to easily connect with WiFi. We’re sorry that we missed the mark for you. We’d like to make this right and ensure that it doesn’t happen again in the future. Could you email support@esper.io so that we can help find a solution?

Thank you for the reply. We found a backup solution: we send the device in standard mode and during the installation, after we connected the device to the patient's wifi, we set the kiosk mode. This is possible because Esper console is very flexible and gives many options to the utilizer that can easly workaround this kind of issues. Anyway I will contact Esper support in order to find a solution to make the wifi setting easier.
