how can i creat a new feild for the contact?

i can't do that for the customer

Your user must be a system administrator or a system customizer. After that open the standard solution and open the entity Contact. See fields level and click on new. Then customize your field (type, dimension, default value and so on). Save and publish the solution

Hi, You must have system customizer or system administrator permissions to create the field in the contact entity. Please follow the below steps. 1. Go to the settings 2. Click on customizations 3. Click on customize the system 4. Expend entities 5. Find contact entity. 6. Expend contact entity 7. Click on forms and open your form where you want to add field. 8. Now find the create new field button in below right corner. 9. And give the name and display name. 10. Add the same button on your form with the help of drag and drop. Hope It'll help you..

you must have the "System customizer" and/or "System Administrator" role, If you do you can Click on the "Form Editor" when you have a contact open, you will be able to add new fields from their or you can edit the default solution navigate to the entities, then contact and under fields add one[You will still need to add it to the form for users to see it)
