# How can I build automation for work anniversaries & Birthdays

It would be nice to automatically send a congratulatory email to employees on anniversaries and potentially a gift card for birthdays.  Managers could forget so it would be nice to automate.

Hi Jacob, with Rippling Workflow Studio, admins can easily set up workflows that are triggered by anything, including key dates like work anniversaries or birthdays. You can create any custom workflow by yourself, or use the Rippling-provided templates, called recipes, to help you mark the occasion.
