Domain at risk of being hijacked

how can we address this with our provider when they are unable to identify the flag or see it on their system? Domain registrar update protection not enabled - Overview:Domain is not protected from unsolicited update requests with the registrar. The domain should have clientUpdateProhibited set. we use a large Registry provider and nobody is able to respond or address the clientUpdateProhitibted flag. What other way can we address this so our score isnt affected as signing a waiver doesnt fix the issue

Hi and thank you for your message! UpGuard recently switched domain registrars because of this issue. We will remove this risk for all domains at a particular registrar, if they don’t support this flag, but have a second check on updates (critical for updates to the Name Servers). To do so we will need to be contacted at support@upguard.com to be notified of this request. Also, a lot of registrars have an ‘upsell’ where they will lock the domain at the registry level with a ‘serverUpdateProhibited’ flag, but at a cost. This provides even better security for your domains against hijacking. For more information about this topic or any other specific questions, please contact us at support@upguard.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
